Packing

I have an issue with packing. . .this is what I have packed right now for a four day trip. Three polo shirts, four button down short sleeve shirts, two long sleeve button down shirts, four tee shirts, four pairs of shorts, three pairs of jeans, two pairs of khaki pants, ten pair underwear, two swimsuits (the hotel doesn't have a pool btw), four pair tan socks, five pair black socks, three pairs of shoes, two pairs of sandals and two pair of running shorts (I don't really run).

That doesn't even include sundries like books to read or shaving stuff. . .

I think I need to weed some stuff out or they might think I'm trying to emigrate (although if a Royal Canadian Mounty was looking for a husband. . .)

Christ man, I guess you need to do a luggage cull. Everytime I would travel I'd always take too much to the point that when I went to the UK and Spain last year I took 1 pair pants, 1 pair shorts, 2 T-shirts(an Iggy and a Che Guevara), 3pairs socks and 3pair underwear. Nikes and sandals. That was it. Toiletries? Toothbrush and paste, deodorant and sunscreen. Oh, and a cowboy hat. I was styling hard!

You pack for every contingency. Just like a (shudder) girl!

When I pack, I throw a bunch of crap into a duffel bag. If I need something else, I buy it when I get to my destination.

I don't think men in Montreal wear underwear.

That definitely sounds like the way I USED to pack.

Now when I go to Canada, I take 1 change of clothes and then stock up at the Roots outlet store.

Brad, I take exception to that! I pack sensibly! Sometimes that means having an extra bag for shoes!

I went with Vinnie G. to Montreal last year for a few days. Three to be exact. He had so much luggage he needed to make two trips to the car to bring it all in. And after hauling his entire wardrobe across the border, I swear he wore the same sweater twice.
