Rip Em Off

I had my first class of the new semester on Tuesday (I'm studying IT for anyone who gives a crap about that). The cop who chased me around the parking lot really should have been in the bookstore arresting someone for blatant thievery. I spent 140$ on two books. The brand new huge book only cost me 50$. It was the used book that was outrageous. A little paperback book was 90$ used! WTF?

There's some new thing where you can download a PDF of most textbooks for free. I forget what the site is. I'll post more info... but I think it's called , "Screw U, School! Get yer filthy hands outta my pockets!" or something along those lines. No, really. Well, it's not really called that, but the thing really exists.
I would so be in your debt Derek if you could send me that site!
Now that the cow's out of the barn... there might be an information board somewhere where a previous student of those classes has books they'd be willing to sell you for cheap, if you can get in good with one of the book store nazi's they might know someone, or perhaps the class instructor would know someone.
I still think that cop wanted to buy you a donut. =-)
