I just love it when new drinks come out. The questions we get are just priceless.
Man: What does the Pumpkin Spice latte taste like?
Me: It tastes kind of like pumpkin pie. It has a pumpkin flavor with the spices of pumpkin pie, vanilla, cinammon, nutmeg
Man: Will I like it?
Me: I don't know. I'll make you a sample.
Man: Do other people like it?
Me: It is one of our most popular drinks. People wait all year for the pumpkin spice.
Man: What if they all have funky taste?
Me: (trying really freaking hard to not roll my eyes at him) Well, I'll make you a sample and you can try it.
Man: What if I don't like it
Me: Well then you can order something else (I am sure the exasperation was showing in my voice by now)
Man: Do you like it?
Me: No, not really
Man: Then why are you trying to shove it down my throat? (then stomps off)
Was it just me or was he insane? I mean really? How the hell do I know if you are going to like something? If someone offers you a sample try it, if you dont like it then don't get it. It is that freaking simple.

I love the pumpkin latte.
Found out today that the store across the street from me is closing. I'd love to open a coffee house there.
Pumpkin spice would be on the menu year-round.
Gods, I'd kill for a venti chai right now.

I had a weird one in the store today. She invited me to a Halloween party. A blind woman in her 50's inviting me to her party. Um, can you say NO?
At least she was nice. No nasty crazies today.
You really need a tiny video camera on your keychain, to go along with the still camera. That way you can capture these special moments and upload them to YouTube. Or maybe we can film a parody of all of these? That would be really fun... and funny.
I've got editing and camera equipment.
We should do this before Dionne leaves so she can play one of the customers in line behind the kooky ones, and roll her eyes and look at her watch.
D. would so be the best next customer in line shooting the idiots in front of her nasty looks!

Um, will I like it?
Well... I tried a chai spice latte with whip cream sample on it one time at S-yucks...it was BUTT nasty. The girl was going around saying would you like to try a sample? So, OK, I'll try something free-- after all, according to TV, if it's FREE it must be good, right?? Well, it wasn't, and the guy was right there.. just because someone else likes it doesn't mean he will, but I really didn't see any cause for him complaining about your offer to shove something down his throat!! Maybe he wanted a date instead of a drink and was too shy to say something!
