The Pumpkin That Lived

I went out this morning to get some coffee and I was surprised to see that my pumpkin was still alive and not smashed all over the street. Not only is it still in good condition seeing as how it was carved two weeks ago but it is still whole too. What is this world coming too when you can't rely on the neighborhood punks to smash your pumpkin on Halloween night? Hell, that is why I left it out all night.
