Harry Potter

I just read D.'s post about HP and I have to say that as a thirty something year old man, I am way to excited about this book coming out. And yet I am. I am also in the process of rounding up some people to go see Harry and the Potters and Draco and the Malfoys (yes performing TOGETHER) on July 25th at the CPL. I can't go by myself because otherwise I would be that creepy old guy that hangs around, but if there are a few of us then we can all be creepy together. I may have to pull a trick out of Amy and D.'s hat and be wearing my Quidditch robes underneath a jacket (hope it is cool that day). Anyway. . .is it July 21st yet?

I am with you I can't wait to see the movie or read the last book.
Same here...
what's this event on July 25th?
I can't wait for the movie! (I don't read that much fiction) lol
Hee hee - I hadn't thought of the creepy guy aspect of going alone to see H and Ps and D and the Ms. Sorry I can't be there with you!
I am however happy to take your money in the betting pool - get ready to be decimated!
July 25th is when Harry and the Potters and Draco and the Malfoys will be performing at the Cleveland Public Library Lakeshore branch. You can visit evilwizardrock.com to find out more info on the event
Always let your inner child out to play!
Greetings from a random stranger . . .
I'm trying to talk a friend of mine into going to the Harry and the Potters show at the library. I just gave her a copy of Voldemort Can't Stop the Rock for her birthday, along with an assortment of HP candy (chocolate frogs & every flavor beans, etc.). I missed the show H and the P did at the Grog Shop earlier this year, but I'd really like to see them live. This whole wizard rock thing kind of cracks me up.
Anyhow, to explain my presence (if you care): I was killing time during the Indians rain delay by Googling "Grady Sizemore" and enjoyed your Grady vs. Brady post. (I was just at Great Northern yesterday and saw a sign touting Brady's "first area appearance" on July 21. If it was Grady, I would totally be there, but Brady ... meh.) To distract myself from the total stomping the Indians are getting now that the game has resumed, I thought I'd poke around the blog and leave a note. The end.
Welcome Amy! You should totally go to that show. D. and I went to go see them at Parmatown Mall last year and it is a freaking riot! Keep me posted maybe I'll see ya there.
