Voting Day
I just finished voting for the first time in my adopted city of Columbus, Ohio. Call me a dork but I get excited about things like that. It also helps that voting for mayor here actually means something as opposed to voting for the mayor of my old burg of Nazi Heights (trust me, live there and you'll know why I call it that). I was glad C-Fresh did some research for me on school board members since I have no clue who is who here. I almost made the mistake of voting for a woman who wants to bring prayer and bible study to the City Schools. I just read the official bio that said she had a Masters in Education. Silly me. Good thing C-Fresh was there with some good candidates and good solid reasons to vote for them.

I always find it so frustrating voting for people I've never heard of...I'm scared to think of people I've endorsed over the years.
Nazi Heights? That's a new one.
Good for you voting! But if I don't know the people running for a particular office, I don't vote.
Don't want to make a mistake and vote for the wrong one!
