Miss Michigan?!?
WTF?!?
Miss Michigan won Miss America? I thought the whole idea was to "modernize" and "update" what Miss America was all about. I thought they would pick somebody fresh and exciting and what gets picked? Miss Michigan gets picked. A lifeless, blonde, personality free, Barbie doll. In other words they went with the same old same old. I am so freaking irritated and I totally think Miss Washington should have won it. She is an "it" girl, not that bleached blonde piece of Michigan trash.
"Boo!" I say. . ."BOO!"
Yet another "reality" show that picked the wrong damn winner.

I agree; she was just another bleached blond floozy throughout the entire competition. I was far more impressed by Miss Indiana; I thought she had a clearer vision of what she wants to do with language barriers in the US, and it takes some balls to stand before a fairly conservative forum and affirm that teen pregnancy isn't that bad.
Amen to that Justin. I do think she could have had a better answer to that question though such as "Parents can use this as a teaching moment to discuss such things as abstinence, birth control, and choice. Whatever is appropriate to each families belief system." I think that answer would have won the crown for Miss Indiana.
Add my voice to the chorus. I admit I've been watching that Miss America Reality Check show. While some of it was a refreshing change, the pageant itself seemed to be the same old formula with a couple of incongruous updates thrown in, like having all the girls sit on stage in jeans and watch. Why?
