Odd Sight
Today as I was leaving work I noticed a Buddhist monk perusing through the books. That in and of itself was an odd enough sight in Urban Columbus. It was not just the fact that he was there browsing through books it was what he was looking at (and no it was not porn you dirty minded thing you). He was not in the religion aisle he was flipping through the lyrics, music, and picture book of the musical Wicked. Now I realize that they can have other interests and all that but it was such an incongruous sight watching a man in saffron robes and a shaved head flip through a book about a Broadway Musical. It did make me smile though.

A gay monk? I had no idea Buddhists had so much in common with Catholics!
