On The Road Again

Well, we are just about home again. Why I thought it would be a good idea to drive across the country and back again in a week is anyone's guess. I must have been cracked out!
The wedding was really nice. The whole reason we went to Vegas was for C-Fresh's best friend's wedding. Here is the reason why I like this wedding so much. It was not about "look how much we can spend" or "look how over the top we can go" it was about a couple sharing this celebration with close family and friends. The non-denominational ceremony was so sweet (we both teared up) and the couple was so unbelievably happy. It was just such a beautiful, memorable, loving occasion to see them spend that special occasion with the people they really cared about instead of turning their wedding into a networking event like I have seen weddings turn into (trust me, after photographing weddings for 5 years I've seen a lot of things go on that you would not believe). If gay marriage ever becomes legal I hope my wedding is similar. Just close family and close friends celebrating love together.
