From the parents who want it to the churches who expect it and every friend, cousin, aunt/uncle and co-worker in between. I am happy for gay people in Canada who have won the right to marry. It made me feel overwhelming proud of my country to have that legislation passed, but for me and my partner a <EM>certiticate</EM> of marriage is simply that.
